I've been in both very packed elevators , that have stopped between floors , and broken down
and very packed buses . And I can tell you , that an overpacked bus is a lot more pleasant .
At least , you can generally open the windows . Sometimes when people panic , they fart . Or
they have to relieve themselves into an paper or plastic coffee cup . And I have had worse !

Both are better than a packed plane, but to answer the question, a packed elevator is worst. Breathing in what everyone else is breathing out? Pass.

I use mass transit to show solidarity with workers. Oppressor capitalist class ride elevator to top of skyscraper. One day elevator operators revolt and elevators no work.
