AKA what do you waste your money on?
I'll start. I have a pretty decent retro video game collection, a good collection of Harry Potter Lego sets, and I've been collecting the toys I played with as a child. Transformers, Oliver and Company, Rainbow Brite, Pound Puppies, Handheld Tiger Electronic games, etc.
What do you collect?

AKA what do you waste your money on? I'll start. I have a pretty decent retro video game collection, a good collection of Harry Potter Lego sets, and I've been collecting the toys I played with as a child. Transformers, Oliver and Company, Rainbow Brite, Pound Puppies, Handheld Tiger Electronic games, etc. What do you collect? I too am a fan of Transformers... I have always enjoyed the characters since they debuted back in 1984... And as a kid had several of the original toys. Back in the Mid-1990s I got rid of them, because... I no longer played with them... and I had thought the franchise was basically dead, and that it was going to stay that way... Also, I needed some cash at the time... However, I still saw some new toys here or there... From that time on, until about five years ago... I only bought a couple here and there, If I happened to see some that really interested me... It really wasn't until the live action movies came out, that I started getting interested in the franchise again... Now, as an adult, I don't play with them... But, I have always been fascinated with the engineering involved in designing the toys... I love Transforming them, and being amazed at how a flip of a part here, and a fold of a joint there, can turn these great looking robots, into something else which is also incredible looking... It's is also great to be reminded of how much I love these incredible characters, that I grew up with, from the original G1 Cartoon... I remain loyal to those characters and their imagery... A few years back, I discovered that Walmart was re-releasing some of the original toys, and that marked a major moment in getting back into regularly buying toys again... I was able to get some toys back I had as a kid, that I wished I had never sold... and bought a few, I didn't have... The nostalgia of seeing them back on the store shelves again in their original packaging, is something I never forget. At the same time, there was a new toy line that was coming out, which was focusing on G1, but with newer engineering and more accuracy... These characters that I love, are so much are better than ever... I've been buying as many as I can... While I am very picky when it comes to how I want my "G1" toys to look, I am very flexible when it comes to other characters... and will buy, any designs that interest me, as well as give me something with different transforming engineering to enjoy too... I've even revisited Beast Wars, and watched that cartoon series again, which I hadn't seen in over 25 years... and at the time, wasn't much of a fan of... I've also picked up a few of those new toys as well, to add to my collection... I've even looked at other toy lines, and other continuities to find new characters and new toys... The more the merrier... I have way more now, than I did as a kid... Although, I think I have my definitive versions of my favorite characters now, and I don't see myself buying any more of those... I'm still on the lookout for getting more characters and engineering toy designs I don't have... Now If I can just figure out where to put them all. LOL!

I have a few small ones out at the moment, but most are in storage as I need to buy new shelves. The largest is probably about 25 cm (10 inch) tall. Smallest is about 3 cm. Bulk of them are around 10-15 cm in the "Tokoname" style shown above, in various colors, but I have a few odd/different ones.

I'm not much of a collector when it comes to general objects. I buy movies, graphic novels, sci fi books, and various other kinds of books on topics I'm interested in.

I don't really collect books, comics, DVDs, games and silly £1 toys. I'm just not that good at getting rid of them.
