Someone I've been meaning to get into for a while. Have only seen Mysteries of Lisbon (2010), which is amazing. Painterly visuals and a dense, complex, novelistic plot. From what I've heard it's quite atypical for him though as much of his other stuff is apparently more playful and experimental.
He has one film, Three Crowns of the Sailor (1983), currently on Mubi, so I might check that out soon.
