Sadly, this is style over substance. Avatar is the more original script, but Jurassic Park is so iconic and fun that its style just beats the substance of Avatar.
That's very rare. It's just that Jurassic Park is one of the most iconic films ever, full of great lines that are actually kind of stupid and unmotivated, but just sound fun enough to catch on, so hold on to your butts, clever girl.

I have issues with Jurassic Park, but I own the movie and have watched it several times over the years.
I couldn't get through Avatar once.
