1. Octopussy 8/10, gets back to being classic Bond; high adventure, exotic locales, beautiful scenery, great locations, beautiful women, great theatrics.
2. Beyond Thunderdome 6/10, Lots of great dramatic theater with the children. The parts with adults is much too formula.
After that, it goes downhill to the depths.
3. Escape From LA 3/10 4. Superman III 3/10 5. Temple of Doom 2/10 6. Evil Dead 2 1/10

Temple of Doom (1984) - 9/10. My favourite Indy movie thanks to the frenetic pacing, setting and darker tone.
Beyond Thunderdome (1985) - 8/10. Really good sequel that serves as a respectable continuation of Max's desert adventures.
Escape From LA (1996) - 8/10 I like it at least as much as the original.
Superman III (1983) - Campy and not as good as its predecessors but to me this remains the last genuinely entertaining Superman movie.
Evil Dead 2 (1987) - 7/10. My least favourite instalment of the trilogy. Bruce Campbell is a joy to behold all the same.
Octopussy (1983) - 5/10. Arguably the worst Roger Moore-fronted Bond movie. Despite a strong opening, the movie falls apart pretty quickly. And what were they thinking with that ending. Felt like a parody of the franchise.

Temple of Doom (1984) - 8/10 Evil Dead 2 (1987) - 7.5/10 Beyond Thunderdome (1985) - 7/10 Escape From LA (1996) - 7/10 Octopussy (1983) - 5.5/10 Superman III (1983) - 3.5/10
Beyond Thunderdome is actually the only one of the OT that I actually like. It is the most interesting and the most emotionally absorbing imo. Road Warrior has a better villain and better action, but the characters and screenplay have always bored me to some extent. My favorite Mad Max movie is Fury Road.
I prefer Escape from L.A. over Escape from New York, because it is just more exciting and self-aware. John Carpenter went all in on this movie and it mostly pays off. I have some big issues with some aspects of it, but it is entertaining, bad-ass and funny.
Temple of Doom is just a lot of fun and I love how different it is from the other 3 in the franchise. Memorable villains, great gross-out scenes, great locations and sets, Harrison Ford at his peak physically and charismatically and he has great chemistry with Short Round. The mine chase is my favorite action scene in the franchise and John Williams' score is wonderful.
Evil Dead 2 perfectly balances horror and comedy and is one of the best in the genre. Bruce Campbell is hilarious here and this is the movie I think of most when I think of Sam Raimi's style.
Roger Moore's Bond movies are the worst of the franchise after Timothy Dalton's. Octopussy is middle of the road within the Moore Bond movies. Not bad, but not good either.
The less said about Superman III the better. The first half is dumb and the second half is really boring. Christopher Reeve is still good and the junkyard fight is effective and that is really the only positives about the movie imo.

Glad to seen someone who appreciates Beyond Thunderdome and Escape from L.A. and thinks Octopussy is lame. Temple of Doom is generally well-liked, which is why I don't feel the need to comment about that. It definitely has it's haters, but it seems more people like it than don't. It is arguably the weakest of the OT for me though.

Temple of Doom - My least favorite of the first three, but still a ton of fun. 8.5/10 Evil Dead II - Awesome sequel with a great blend between horror and comedy. 8/10 Octopussy - Not one of the best Bond movies, but I enjoy it. 7/10 Beyond Thunderdome - I should give them another shot, but I didn't care much for any of these, with this being my least favorite. 5/10 Escape from L.A. - been meaning to rewatch this, but I wasn't a big fan. I quite like Escape from New York though. 5/10 Superman III - I'm actually not a huge fan of the first two (I think they're decent), but this one is a big step down. 5/10
