Something I found odd with the recent re-release of Quake the description of its original soundtrack being iconic - I always thought it had a rubbish soundtrack, there was one song on the soundtrack and the rest of it wasn't music, just ambient backgroud noise. Does anyone actually consider Quake's soundtrack iconic?

I considered it back then because it was Trent Raznor and Nine Inch Nails that produced the music. Back in 1996 this sort of thing wasn't common. So yeah.
They even released an album for the soundtrack.
