Wrath of Khan - 7.5/10
Into Darkness - 6.5/10
What holds Into Darkness back for me is the last 20 minutes or so when it turns into a rehash of Wrath of Khan.

Wrath of Khan (7/10) Into Darkness (8/10) You're going to have to explain to me why you thought Benedict Cumberbatch was a better Khan to me.

Wrath of Khan (7/10) Into Darkness (8/10) Interesting. How come? I enjoyed it more. Out of all the 3 films, I liked the Abrams-Lin series the most.

Haven't seen them. I have no interest in Star Trek.

The Wrath of Kahn - 7/10
Into Darkness - 5/10
Into Darkness is one of the worst Star Trek movies imo. It is really no fun and rehashes Wrath of Kahn too much. Cumberbatch is just so dull here. All of the energy, flow and chemistry of the 2009 movie is absent.

The Wrath of Khan - 10/10. The best of the TOS films and my favourite movie of 1982. A very well-directed film with a good story, neat sci-fi premise, beautiful effects and cinematography, perfect resolution and spectacular score. Also boasts Shatner's best ever performance.
Star Trek Into Darkness - 2/10. The visuals aren't bad, but it's a ill-thought-out rehash of the 1982 film with a woeful and confounding reimagining of Khan, a nonsensical plot and a careless approach to the source material that oftentimes plays like a parody of classic Trek.
