Bella, you grabbed my attention. Tell me, is this a very good guess that Veness and Evans played the same role? Or were you actually able to unearth some info that Veness played Ann-Marie in the original Broadway production in (according to Wiki) 1889? I found Amy Veness and A Doll’s House on IBDB but without the character’s name. I then searched for the FF-actresses’ collaborations with Henrik Ibsen, which led me to Edith Evans as Anne-Marie. Just to be on the safe side, I googled “Amy Veness as Anne-Marie in A Doll’s House” and got some information on the website of the Museum of the City of New York Collections Portal. If I ever need to hire a private detective, I may call you.

THIS PLAY WAS PERFORMED AT: Plymouth Theatre (Apr 29, 1918 - May 1918) HOWEVER, IT WAS NOT AN ORIGINAL PRODUCTION. IT WAS A REVIVAL.... BUT, kp THAT LINE OF THINKING WITH THE REMAINING FF ACTRESSES AS SCREEN PERFORMERS.
