I'm a huge Sopranos fan, so I'm definetly looking forward to this. That's a good casting choice for Tony Soprano, he looks like a young James Gandolfini. Good to see Ray Liotta in something that's actually relevant.

That would have been interesting.

Doesn't look bad, but I liked the first trailer more.

Could HBO pick this up as a series? HBO has always loved their series, believing people subscribed for series more than movies. And they haven't had a must see series since Game of Thrones

He was offered the role of Ralphie: www.indiewire.com/2021/09/ray-liotta-turned-down-sopranos-1234667239/

Good thing that never happened either. Can’t see anyone else but Joe Pantoliano as Ralph.

Friday. Damn, this will be the first movie that we see in the theater since Bohemian Rhapsody
I read that they asked David Chase if he would do another prequel movie, Tony in his 20's. chase said only if Terrence Winter wrote it. And Winter said "Hell yes". Be cool to see a trilogy, taking Tony right up to the pilot of the series.

As a big fan of The Sopranos, this was a bit dull whenever it wasn't focusing on Sopranos regulars. Which is probably exactly what you'd expect a Sopranos fan to say, but I knew going in it'd be more about Dickie and this Harold guy. They were simply boring characters.
So yeah, it didn't pick up for me until teen Tony showed up. Michael Gandolfini really lived up to his father, great performance. And Vera Farmiga was perfect as Livia.

I didn't think much of it, too much going on and too many characters.
