Recently I finished watching movies from the 1960's but I was waiting for a few to become available from my library while I started 70's movies. Well they finally came and so I watched In Harm's Way and The List of Adrian Messenger and - imagine this - Kirk Douglas dies in the end of both. What were the odds? Kirk Douglas is the South Park Kenny of the classic movie world. Curious, I looked up his real life- the guy lived forever (103 years old). Voodoo maybe- each movie death added a real year to his life?

Voodoo maybe- each movie death added a real year to his life? Just a basic medical reality. Taking those regular screen deaths built up his resistance.
