Looks terrible; but then, only the first Matrix was ever any good. The second one was awful and I never bothered with the third. It's an absolute mess from what I understand.

Reloaded is nuts and that is why I like it. I actually think it is more entertaining than the first movie. Revolutions is a borefest though.

What about the cartoon one? Barely remember it. Wasn't a theatrical release so I don't really count it. Then again, I also pretend the sequels don't exist, so it's all relative, I guess.

Well, doesn't look bad, but I'm still not sold on this movie existing besides to make money.
Also, not very subtle with that pill song and those pills.
Also, maybe it's just me, but the trailer gives off the impression this may be a "greatest hits" movie for the Matrix films.

Matrix Resurrections look like typical Inception/Tenet mindbending garbage the first 3 movies were a little more game world virtual reality less mindfuck. |

It's very simple, really. I didn't like the second one, the third one looked worse so I didn't see it. Everything I've read about it since has confirmed my suspicions that it was a disaster. Continue your angry defense of someone else's IP, though. Of course the ultimate irony here is that every time you disagree with me, you usually tell me not to watch things I don't like. Yet here you are telling me I can't complain if I haven't seen it. You're a trip, you really are.

I still enjoy the first movie. The sequels haven't held up for me as well as other sequels, but they have their mix of good and not-so-good points.
