I hope to be watching the Sunday games as they happen. This one I'll have to record live to watch later as I have an early start for work tomorrow (and it's on overnight here in the U K). I'm excited at the prospect of seeing football again.
Hope everybody enjoys the game!

I expect Brady to play well, but not even he can play great forever. One of these years we'll finally see that decline. Maybe it will be this year.

We're always finding news about Brady well after it happens. Who knew he contracted covid? He caught it around the time he was tossing the Super Bowl trophy around on those boats in the bay. We find out about all of his injuries that way too.

I remember when he was supposed to be finished after that ugly week 4 loss to KC in 2014. He won the Super Bowl that year, too.

This is proof Brady and the Pats don't have it anymore and they cheated for all those wins! The Patriots will NOT make the playoffs!
(A Few weeks later the Patriots are the #1 seed in the AFC)
DC Fan: The Patriots are one and done, they won't make it past their first game with Baltimore!
(Patriots going to the AFC title game)
DC Fan: The Pats got lucky, they won't make it past the Colts
(Patriots win)
DC Fan: Deflated Footballs!
(Patriots beat the Seahawks in the Super Bowl)
DC Fan: Deflated Footballs! Deflated Footballs! DEFLATED FOOTBALLS!!!

I predict at least three egregious blown calls leading to mass controversy.

The funny thing is that Brady could go 20-0 with the regular season MVP, 57 touchdowns, and Superbowl MVP and 2 things will not change:
A small portion of the football world will still deny he is the greatest ever.
He won't retire.

He won't retire. Everyone has their opinion, the 'best ever' thing doesn't bother me. It's hard to compare eras, and maybe some people think athleticism is more important than, you know, making the reads, the throws, consistency, inspiring teammates to give 100% at all times, and winning the Super Bowl 1/3 of your career as a starting QB. Life is really getting hard for the Belichick defenders, I'll say that.

Pre game concert by Ed Shiren (sp?) on the NFL channel right now.
Haven't they used to have two games on opening day before? When did that end?
