Well, at least we know it can’t be worse than Tenet. Exactly. LOL. I’m a really big Nolan fan, but after TENET it is a very good idea for him to step away from the sci-fi blockbuster. He really lost his way on that one.

He was always going to be picked up by another studio.

I wonder what kind of elaborate set-pieces he's planning to warrant that $100 million budget. Could be a bigger movie than I initially assumed. Also I never realized that Murphy and Oppenheimer look pretty similar.

I just get bored, lose interest, and end up not paying attention at all.

It’s not worth finishing. The third act is just completely absurd. I’ve tried to find an explanation as for what is even happening and no one seems to know- not even on the internet. It’s the dumbest “smart” movie I’ve ever seen. And I love most of Nolan’s filmography.

Matt Damon and Robert Downey Jr. have apparently been cast.

As Nolan prefers practical effects instead of CGI, he will likely use an actual A-Bomb when filming. And drop it on Warner Bros?

Earlier this year, one of the first times we had really gotten away after lockdown, we drove 90 minutes from home up to the mountain top city of Los Alamos where we visited the site of Oppenheimer's home and other places associated with the bomb. There was no town there when the U.S. Govt. took over the plateau. They had to kick out a boy's boarding school but that was no trouble. Today, it is a yuppie's paradise (if anyone says "yuppie" any more) with some of the state's highest property values.
My Lovely Wife is very interested in this history so will be excited by the prospect of a new movie.
