Any thoughts on certain elements regarding it's whole structure within it's plot.

If its the movie from 2006 with Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz, then i thought it was an extremely boring movie.
Of course i watched it in 2007 or 2008, so who knows if i watched it again i may have a different view on it.
I don`t really remember much of it, other than i found it boring.

Isn’t that the one where HJ goes back in time and becomes a Conquistador? Yes, that was the most interesting thing in the movie to me. Yeah, I remember a bit more now after reading the synopsis. He’s living several lives in the past, present & future to find a cure for his wife. I remember this film was delayed for a few years because Brad Pitt (I think) was originally cast and he couldn’t do it, and they were gonna film it in Queensland.
