The women's rankings are usually released around October.

It's on, bay-baaaay ... Adam Cole is now bound to collide with CM Punk, just as fiery American Dragon Bryan Danielson is coming for a piece of Kenny Omega ... meanwhile, Jon Moxley's ready to fight whoever, whenever, wherever, for whatever.

^ Good for AEW for already taking full advantage of their dream matches. Maybe we'll also see a tag team match some time in the very near future between all four guys mentioned.
I suspect CM Punk will be ranked as the number 1 guy by PWI next year.

Hey Nike316.
I have some wrestling news I think you might like to hear. I reckon Alexa Bliss is finally going to be back gunning for a main title and ultimate nemesis Charlotte Flair might just be the decorated champ in her sights. Trouble is, Flair owns Bliss and the match record doesn't lie.
Alexa Bliss' latest voodoo doll ...

^ I'm glad you brought this up because this match was a long time coming, and I actually like Alexa's chances of winning. Her track record against Charlotte isn't good, but now with her new gimmick, she may just be the one to take the belt off of her at the ppv she won her first title at "Extreme Rules", which may as well be labeled as her own, because she always wins there. A win for Alexa would also be big, because she's the most successful women's wrestler outside of the four horsewomen and has beaten almost all of them for the women's championship except for Charlotte, who at this point in her career, is losing the championships almost as soon as she wins them now, just so she can catch up to her dad's career even quicker, without fans being able to call BS on her wins for long. If she beats Alexa, then I really don't know who else could go over her, because there's no one else bigger on Raw at the moment, so the timing is perfect, and after three years since Alexa last had the women's championship.
This match particularly interests me because both Alexa and Charlotte were the original top stars of the women's division before Becky Lynch took over, yet they never had a proper feud before now.

^ I made a mistake. Alexa actually won the women's championship for the first time at TLC, but the point still stands about Extreme Rules which is kind of the same anyway.

I just hope she's not being set up for a fall. If she's going to beat Charlotte, give us the match that fans deserve.

^ I think they'll have a pretty big match. They did a few years back at Survivor Series, and now with Alexa's new gimmick, the match may actually play even more in her favor and at her signature ppv.
On a side note, Alexa also still owes Charlotte one for stealing her match with Trish Stratus a couple years ago.

I'm not a fan of Omega but it makes sense as he won and held major titles plus The TNA Title.

AEW 'Dynamite' viewers were gifted a taster of potential future pay-per-view encounters. I think some people liked it. Battle Of The Arsenal : Bryan Danielson (running knee, yes kick, shoulder suplex, rolling elbow thunder ...) Vs Kenny Omega (running v-trigger, party superkick, snapdragon suplex, one-winged angel ...)

I would say Alexa was just completely buried after tonight, but I don't know. As if Charlotte's promo on Alexa on Monday wasn't enough of a win for her, she beat Alexa at her own ppv in her own home of Columbus, Ohio, and with a simple move, and then proceeded to trash her character by ripping up her doll. Those two may not be done with each other however, as tonight could've just been a way for WWE to build on the fact of Alexa never beating Charlotte, thus they keep wrestling each other until she finally does. With this said, it's likely they'll have another match at Crown Jewel which is right next to Halloween, and another good opportunity for a twisted wrestler like Alexa to win the Raw Women's Championship, kind of like how Bray Wyatt beat Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel on Halloween a couple years back.

I like the fact that Kenny Omega defended his title against that punk Daniel Bryan, who can go back to WWE. I hope they don’t let Daniel Bryan win next time but they probably will.

It's exciting but troublesome seeing that punk join AEW. I want Jon Moxley to take Bryan Danielson out and I know there's nothing he'd enjoy doing more, but it's a tall order. Moxley's contempt for the American Dragon saw him deliver some punishment to him on the indie circuit but that was many years ago and I think it was Danielson who always came up with the win. So, how to reverse that if you're Moxley?
“People have been able to see Daniel Bryan vs. Dean Ambrose. We’ve never seen ‘The American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson vs. Jon Moxley, at least not for a very, very long time. So that’ll be cool.”
- Renee Paquette, The Wrestling Inc.
Jon Moxley calls out the American Dragon
Bryan Danielson delivers Jon Moxley some head trauma
CM Punk, Christian Cage and Kenny Omega will offer serious competition. Bryan Danielson comes from a world of slight, average height cruiserweights (ie. relatively small by men's professional wrestling standards) but he always worked hard to have that core musclemass like Chris Benoit. He was pals with Paul London, looked up to Billy Kidman, Dean Malenko and Lance Storm, feared Gregory Helms. Maybe Pac can take him down in current form, he's the only one I'd give a shot to outside of Omega whose been on the AEW roster for a long time already.

Why did he leave WWE? Wasn’t he popular? Anyway I don’t mind him being there as he can bring fans over to AEW but I don’t think he should be champ. Keep him as a forever bridesmaid.

It's complicated, I think. He clearly slept on this big decision for a while. He says he wants to enjoy the freedom and creativity offered by AEW and I believe him. He's an indie wrestler at heart, a wrestler who paid his dues, and an in-ring technician of the highest order. He's a perfect fit for AEW in that regard and he'll be tested by some of the best technicians in wrestling today.
He's dished out tremendous praise to Vince McMahon on his way out the door so his departure seems amicable on the surface. I don't recall anything dramatic happening on WWE programming, like when CM Punk had the plug pulled on his microphone while insulting the McMahon dynasty live on air. Then there's his connection to the brand legacy. He's married to Brie Bella, recently inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame as one half of the Bella Twins, and his sister-in-law is Nikki Bella. He worked as a general manager there.
I wonder if there's some lingering issues over how his career-threatening neck injury was diagnosed and treated. Like Edge, it appeared his wrestling career was over due to a neck inury. Like Edge, he came back after years out and won championship belts. I'm speculating here but I find it's hard sometimes with professional wrestling to work out where the line is between fantasy and reality.

I'll give Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair credit for their comments in the playground on 'Raw'. Flair told Bliss exactly what she needs to hear, that she used to be a contender. Up until a couple of years ago it felt good to say Bliss was your favourite wrestler in the women's division. She had her issues with injuries and concussions and took time out which was fine, but ever since she returned she's been fighting with a diminished skill set. As Flair said, she wants the old Bliss back, the wrestler with a ton of great tricks and moves who was 5" of fury, the wrestler who was an A+ player inside and outside the ring, the wrestler who bent her arm backwards just to gain an advantage, the wrestler who had more identities than Sarah Manning in 'Orphan Black'.
Bliss gave Flair both barrels in return, calling her out as an entitled title hoarder given the keys to the kingdom by the McMahon family. They went to war over Lilly and Charly but all we saw from Bliss was her go-to ddt and her ability to jump on Flair's back repeatedly. For me, as a fan, I feel it's high time we saw Bliss the elite-level wrestler back in action, the 5-time WWE singles champion who ranked number 2 in the PWI Women's Top 100 in 2018.

I actually enjoy Alexa's current gimmick, given she's a good actor and such a blatant reference to Harley Quinn. I know what you mean though about her not taking her matches as seriously, especially when it comes to her recent match against Charlotte. It was a long time coming since those two were originally the top two women's wrestlers of this era, but since Alexa has changed up her gimmick, she didn't properly address what was so special about it, when it could've been the biggest match of her career. She's beaten everyone except for Charlotte, and to beat her for the championship would've been history in the making, because she would've officially been named as the one and only person to beat all four members of the four horsewomen for the Women's championship thus far. I suppose if she accomplished this at the ppv, she may not have rubbed it in as much with her current gimmick, while she would've had a field day in the past like she did when she became the first to ever win both the Raw and Smackdown Women's Championships.
