Drew Bledsoe is apparently on NBC now along with about 87 ancillary broadcasters who show up for 18 seconds at a time. But he was breaking down the play of some of the rookie QBs, that was good stuff. I just wish they let him actually do it for more than a minute at a time. Drew Brees you mean. And I like him so far as an analyst. Ha yea...no fucking clue why I wrote Bledsoe. But I'd like to see more of Brees going a little more in depth on analyzing plays. These shows are so superficial and it seems like a waste.

Fields in already?? Earlier gadget look than I expected. I figured he'd come in from time to time, but not on the first drive.

Good throw, though, under pressure.

I cannot stomach watching FOX’s coverage because it’s more of a promotion for FOX’s programs than a football show, talk about extremely superficial.

Dalton picked off in the end zone. I’m not surprised, Dalton sucks now and I think the Bears are going to get creamed tonight, and they will have to make Fields the starter soon if they want to have a decent team.

Never ceases to amaze me when a defensive player forgets to touch the runner when he's on the ground to make sure he's down. lol. Good heads-up play by Jefferson.

I'm shocked to find myself conflicted about the Pats losing. On one hand, I fucking hate the Pats, on the other the anti-Belechick contingency on this board is so absurd that I somehow would enjoy them being unhappy with their team winning. I'll never be unhappy with my team winning. I said positive things after every win last year. Unfortunately there weren't enough of them, what with our shitty head coach and all. Anyway, it's week one and everyone wants to start off strong, but there's a lot of football left to be played. I expected them to miss the playoffs this year, but I also expected them to win this game. Now it's probable they get swept by Miami and the Bills, at least they still have the Jets to beat up on. I caught the second half of a show on Vice called The Dark Side of Football and the episode was called The Dark Art of Bill Belichick, and all I could think of was how many aneurysms you'd probably have watching that show.

Bears are keeping this closer than I thought they would, 13-7 Rams at halftime. Rams have had to settle for FG’s a couple of times, and the Bears offense hasn’t been terrible.

I'd just laugh, the same way I do when anybody claims he's a good head coach despite his record without Brady. Is there an argument for his coaching ability? He slips farther under .500 without Brady with each passing game.

Stafford with a bomb to Kupp for the TD, total blown coverage by the Bears left Kupp wide open.

It's filled with horrendous reenactments and overly dramatic music that is impossible to take seriously, but there was all this commentary from sports reporters talking about what an evil genius he was and how much cheating he was doing. I can only imagine how bad the other episodes were.

After a long Bears drive ending in a TD, Stafford with another long pass, this time to Higbee, and the Rams are in Bears territory. They need to be able to score here.

Stafford to Woods for the TD, Stafford’s 3rd TD pass of the night, and that should clinch it, Rams up 34-14.

Rams get the win 34-14. My recap and analysis of today’s action is coming up soon!! I actually thought it’d be worse but the Bears D laid an egg. For once it wasn’t the offense who showed toughness and gritty runs.
