Hoorah! Bernard Cornwell has finally returned to his greatest character -- Napoleonic era soldier/adventurer Richard Sharpe -- with the first new Sharpe novel since 2006. Coming in December: Sharpe's Assassin: Richard Sharpe and the Occupation of Paris 1815

Cool. I only read one of the Sharpe books. It was called Sharpe's Escape when he was in Portugal.

The entire series is awesome! (The 1990s made-for-TV flicks with Sean Bean range from OK to pretty good, but just didn't have the proper budget or scope.)
