I'm sad and I'm mad that he hung himself. Why? Didn't he make it through the tough parts? So sad and such a talented guy.
Anyway, some of my favorites.
Soundgarden Loud Love Hands All Over Big Dumb Sex Like Suicide Burden in My Hand Let Me Drown Superunknown Jesus Christ Pose
Didn't know a lot of Audioslave but I like Gasoline and I Am The Highway
Liked Sunshower from the Great Expectations soundtrack.
Such a loss.

"Hunger Strike" from Temple of the Dog even though Chris Cornell was more like a backup to Eddie Vedder on this song.

was a teenager when "Black Hole Sun" came out and loved/love the song. but my favourites are: - Audioslave: Like a stone - Chris Cornell: You know my name
a friend of mine posted the following on Facebook yesterday. never seen/heard it before and think it's beautiful and simply amazing:

I remember buying Nevermind and trying so much to like this new music they called grunge. But I had no problem liking Soundgarden. Love Black Hole Sun. RIP

Nothing beats "Rusty Cage" for uptempo mania. One of the greatest songs ever made.
If you've never heard "Rusty Cage," strap yourself in. Brilliant tune. (I always shut the song off at 2:40. That last minute SUCKS! Why, oh why, did they end the song that way?)

DAMN! I didn't even know Chris Cornell was dead. This is truly depressing news and a very odd place to discover it. Prescription drugs are evil.
