Anyone seen this British musical horror? Spoilers below if not.
Strong Shaun of the Dead vibes emanating from this one, though it doesn't match its illustrious predecessor in the humour department. The story is your typical zombie movie fare but the musical numbers make for something unique. All quite catchy too. The relatively light-hearted early half contrasted with the much bleaker (and sadder) second half, which I must admit caught me by surprise. Groovy fun.

Watched it last year. Enjoyed it even tho I’m not big on musicals. Fell in love with the lead actress too. I found her to be gorgeous.

I like it quite a bit more than Anna and the Apocalypse, but I am still not a fan. No annoying singing in Shaun of the Dead and a far better cast. Shaun of the Dead is definitely funnier. The singing and the cast is most of why I dislike Anna and the Apocalypse. I didn't think anybody was funny or even likable in the latter.
