"Why can't we work out our differences? Why can't we...work things out?"
1. Also 90s 2. The director's second foray into this type of genre 3. Based on an unusual IP

IP as in Internet Protocol? Intellectual property. Okay. Weird that Internet Protocol is what was only coming up when I googled IP.

IP as in Internet Protocol? Intellectual property. I cheated. I had no idea that is what that was based on.

"If it gets cold enough"
Hints:
1) Set in Miami
2) The backdrop of the story involves the Super Bowl
3) The theme song from "The Crying Game" was featured in the film

Bay liked my post so I'm fairly sure I got it.
"A jingle witty proves everything for my friends and I."
1. A quote that's a misquote of another quote 2. A sequel 3. 2000s

One character quotes a famous quote, then another character misquotes them later. So the quote is a misquote of a quote of a quote. *No, not a HP movie

Maybe it was too difficult. So move on time? I'm sure someone could have got it just naming random 2000s sequels. If it weren't apparent from the quote, it's not a very serious movie.
