No Tyrod Taylor and a rookie QB making his first start. Yeah, I think the Panthers can win this one. But I will be pulling for the Texans!
Although, it should be interesting to see if Darnold can do anything against the Texan's D, which has actually looked pretty good this season.
Most of the lines show the Panthers are 8 point favorites, I know I sound like a broken record with lines and odds, I just find it interesting to see what the odds makers are thinking. I would probably go with the Panthers even though I usually favor taking the points when it's more than 7, lol... But considering its a blue shirt rookie QB, 8 points is probably not enough.
I just made that up, "blue shirt" means it's his first year in the NFL.

If this Mills guy gets hurt, do they put Watson in or go wildcat? Or did they pick up another qb this week?

A few weeks ago, they asked Texans' coach (David Culley) who will go if Taylor and Mills get hurt and Culley said he will suit up and play QB. lol...
But yeah, Driskel is now the backup. Watson is not going to play no matter what happens.

The Texans offense sucks. LOL at the announcers trying to hype up Davis Mills before the game, he’s garbage, the Texans are just tanking this season pretty much, they’ll no doubt draft a QB with their first round pick in 2022.

Texans might do a straight-up QB trade with Watson. They actually took Mills in the first round of the last draft. But Tyrod has looked very good until the injury. He's looked like Mahommes compared to Mills. Lol But were you expecting the rookie to light it up? |

Mills was impressive on that drive, he led them down the field and threw a TD pass, XP no good, 7-6 Panthers. So despite the Panthers dominating up until the 2 minute warning, they only lead by 1 at halftime.
