The Patriots win that game going away if Brady was there and you and I were playing O-Line. I don't want excuses, this is a winnable game.

DeVonta Smith on Twitter last night - 'Run the damn ball! Ballsy move by a rookie - wonder if he gets a talking to
And thus far - we're not running it

For not running the ball and we lead the league in penalties by a wide margin - we've had like 4 TDs called back in the last couple of weeks
He's a rookie coach - there's going to be growing pains
I like DeVonta - he seems like a great kid - which is why my jaw kind of dropped when I saw that tweet

I'll tell ya what This team looked dead and buried when it was 15-3 Jake Elliott's 58 yard FG before the half was huge Showed a ton of heart and never quit - CBs stepped up huge - Big Play Slay with 2 picks and Nellie with another 2-3 - I like it - we're right back in the hunt

But it was the Eagles defense that dominated in this one.

It's always sunny in Philadelphia: He needs to take a page out of Frogs book. When they win, it's as you expected. When they lose, it's part of the process and as you expected.

What's with all the place kickers? Making a PAT or field goal is always an adventure these days.

Jon Grueden out of Oakland due to racist, misogynistic and anti-gay emails.

Wow, Chucky is gone. Apparently there was more stuff there than just the email about DeMaurice Smith.

Yeah I’ve seen this - yikes, it’s bad. Chucky was incredibly ignorant and stupid to be spewing this crap, he had to know better than to do this, no idea how he thought this was acceptable. He had to resign now.

The NFL is rightfully trying to move past backwards ways of thinking like this and stuff such as misogyny and homophobia, and this is incredibly embarrassing for the NFL, there’s still a long way to go to move past this crap.

Colts get the football but not the TD. Bad blow for the Ravens.

I'm not entirely sure what Gruden said in these emails so I'll assume it's egregious, but is a guy using his personal emails while not employed by the league grounds for being fired ad a league employee? I know the recipient was using his work email, but it kinda seems like it's outside of their 'jurisdiction' for lack of a better word. I know they can pretty much do whatever they want, but it's a little troubling that personal conversations are grounds for being fired years later for a job you didn't have at the time.

It wouldn't have gone further if it was just 2011. A whole lot of emails over the years. Gruden called Roger Goodell a “f*ggot” and a “clueless anti football pussy” and said that Goodell should not have pressured Jeff Fisher to draft “queers.” In 2017, Gruden replied to a a sexist meme of a female referee, “Nice job roger.” Regarding Goodell allowing players to show support for racial equality, he wrote "He needs to hide in his concussion protocol tent," etc. www.nytimes.com/2021/10/11/sports/football/what-did-jon-gruden-say.html
