According to IMDb, the remake of "Dumbo" will be directed by Tim Burton.

I kind of am. I wouldn't consider Dumbo classic enough to be untouchable from a remake.

I voted for the "the fact that they are making this film has made me lose all faith in humanity" option. Tells you all I need to know, I have to say, except that I absolutely adore Dumbo (the real movie, of course--one of the greatest of all the Walt Disney animated pictures).
