Anyone watched that documentary yet on the 1986 Mets?

I'm halfway through the first episode. The early 70s A's predate me a bit, so in my memory, that '86 Mets team is the most charismatic in my life (1993 Phillies are second).

It’s phenomenal. A must watch for not just Met fans, but New Yorkers in general. You’ll definitely enjoy it.

What a time - when the Mets not the Yanks seemed to run the city.

It was excellent, as are most of the 30 for 30s. As a long suffering Mets fan, it was nice to watch this rather than the 2021 Mets lose again! 1983 is when I first really started watching baseball. Met Mookie Wilson at my little league as a kid and after that, he was my guy. Lots of great memories.
