There are 60 films nominated over the past week. I’m going to post a new poll every Sunday. 12 Movies in each round. 5 Rounds. Then, the final round will have the 5 winners of each round. The Final Five winner will be crowned the WORST MOVIE EVER MADE… according to IMDb 2 Source of nominations: imdb2.freeforums.net/thread/282487/worst-movie-imdb-2-tournament

You should have asked for people to list 20 each.
There simply wasn't enough people listing their least favorite movies of all time for a poll like this imo.

Maybe after we have a winner, we can do another poll and have the winner of that tournament go against this winner. We will see how this goes.

Of those I would have to say Ghostbusters'16 is the worst.

The Last Airbender
As much as I dislike Ghostbusters (2016), The Last Airbender is worse.

Kind of depressing to see such a cool and fun little film as Hardware (1990), being placed among so many big budget turds. But each to their own, and all that.
Have not seen most of the other titles, beside Master of the Disguise, Ghostbusters (2016), Lady in the Water (I actually kind of enjoyed that one) and Garfield (I think the second one, is worse, but still not anywhere near being a worst movie contender, or so I believe).
I guess my vote goes to Ghostbusters, as I did not have too much to go on, from that list. Nowhere near a worst movie of all time film, but surely the most annoying movie of those I have seen (to chose from), so yeah, that one got my vote.

Only one I've seen was Lady in the Water and didn't think it was all that bad(5/10), so I'll pass my vote for this round.

Instead of people voting on films they don’t really hate. Or even just voting on a film they “heard” was bad but never saw.

Catman will assume no one else had the misfortune of seeing The Misty Green Sky.

That movie literally KILLED Dana Carvey’s career. Unfortunately. He’s actually a great comedian when he’s in his element. I don’t know what that movie was? A half meddled studio Frankenstein of cartoony sketches sewed together. I also hate when people blame the actor for the bomb. I was 16 when that came out. I remember seeing the TV spots for it. It looked so cringe and corny. And you know that’s the best part of the film, the clips in the trailers and TV spots.

Ghostbusters (2016) is a serious contender, but I really, really dislike Lady in the Water.

Like the above poster, Marth, I only saw two of these, the same two, and feel about the same way. "Lady in the Water" was truly terrible, and the "scapegoat" theme only appeals to people with lynch mob mentalities, and feeds the demons in those people, so that's clearly deserving in this round.
That is a very obscure list of movies. Maybe next time you can limit nominations to movies that have over 2,000 ratings on imdb or something to that effect. I came to 2,000 by looking up the numbers of ratings for well known movies that aren't big hits or award winners (Big Jake, both Time Machines, PT109). Three of those had over 10,000 ratings, while for some reason PT109 only had just over 2000. No way to explain that, since JFK has always been a very popular person.
So maybe the cut off could be 2000, 5000, or even 10,000. It wouldn't be too hard to look up to see if a nominee qualifies.
Since we're talking about "poorest movies", maybe the cutoff point would be 2000, although I feel in order to be really one of the worst of the worst, it should be a "waste" of budget and talent and resources, meaning it would get over 10,000 ratings, good or bad.
Any way, I hope you consider this for a future retry of this event. I'm satisfied with the nominees as they are. I just haven't seen more than a few of them.

Didn't hurt the one actor who is guilty of that. In fact, he became foreman of a crew of railroad workers later.

It’s halfway through week 1 and “Ghostbusters” (2016) is clearly in the lead. Voting ends Saturday.

Somehow, I am kind of a bit "excited", for round 2. Still, I am just glad (for now) that Hardware has not gotten any votes, yet.
