It's funny when you put it like that - but no. I already know he's at least competent (to put it mildly); I've seen bad coaching in the NFL. What I was trying to find out is what it'll take for you to raise your opinion of him, and now I know. Let's revisit this in 2024. Will you remember? I'm not going to remember a conversation I had with some rando on the sports board. What kind of a psycho do you take me for? (And if I'm really lucky, you can talk trash all day as I'm buying championship swag online.) I can see it now: "Suck it Rey! Your coach was great and won another Super Bowl after all! Ha ha!"

Finally, a Brady/Belichick book I actually want to read! Do you think 6-11 or worse will do? I hope so, I really do. My only fear is that he uses the rookie QB excuse. "I need one more year with this guy." So after a second 6-11 season in 2022, Kraft probably encourages a 'mutual parting of ways.'

As a Patriots fan, I'm ready for a new program. Robert Kraft, Belichick, his kid, I want new blood. If for nothing more than a purge for a reset into a newer youthful storyline.
Younger players ahead who will shrug at Belichick's 6 rings will barely take notice of his resume. I wouldn't even be shocked if he walked after this season, how can he be enjoying his job anymore, let alone what lies ahead for him.
The AFC East is still as gettable as ever with a capable inspired team. The Jets have obviously made a deal with the devil for SB III, & the Dolphins can't seem to get out of their own way even with the right pieces.
