As an aside - this seems to imply that Marino was some sort of dual-threat QB.

7-6 Record Last game (a loss of course) JA had to throw the ball over 50 times to go slightly over 300 yards - 2 TD passes 1 INT Know what this is? It's a pedestrian - get it? He's got pedestrian #s for the 2nd highest paid player in the league and his team is on the brink of not even making the playoffs

It's all about expectations - Eagles have a rookie HC and a QB in his first full year as starter; of course they're [insert bad record] / so it's even more amazing that they're [insert good record] (SELECT WHICHEVER APPLIES)

Josh Allen is a fantastic QB. One or two bad games doesn't change that. He's a dual threat, he's clearly got the intangibles that show he wants to win and plays through injury, he's young. I think there are probably 30 teams in the NFL who would gladly sign up for his contract. Cherry picking stats or individual games is lame. Watch football with your eyes.
Mahomes has had 5 games this year where he's thrown 0 or 1 touchdowns and all but one of those with at least 1 INT. I'd still gladly take him on my team I think.

Josh Allen is a very strong QB, and I think the Bills still have a good chance at making the playoffs, they are not “pretenders” as one poster called them.

Josh Allen is a top 10 QB in this league. And this cannot be denied.

Sooner or later they have to beat a good team for me to see them as a real threat. Hey, they could come into Gillette and beat the Pats in a couple weeks. But I have to see it to believe it.

In fact, the corpse of Ben Roethlisberger has a better passer rating than those three. Ooof, ooof, ooof.

They beat the Chiefs at Arrowhead convincingly. I don’t think they are frauds, they have a good team and I think they will make the playoffs.

The Chiefs were terrible at the time. Buffalo is 2-4 in their last 6, including a loss to the Jags where they only scored 6 points. Hey, the Bucs were 7-5 last year, then ran the table and won the Super Bowl, so you're not crazy to think the Bills are better than they've showed lately. But I'm also not crazy to doubt them when they've been inconsistent to say the least over the last six weeks.
