Bengals get a goal line stand, that could be a momentum shifter. Very predictable play call by the Jags.

Jags up 14-0 at halftime. They dominated the first half.

Bengals get a TD to start the second half, 14-7 Jags lead it.

Bengals are driving again, they’ve finally got their offense going, that goal line stand was a huge momentum shifter.

Bengals tie it at 14. Momentum has completely shifted.

Lol, American football is so fucking arbitrary and stupid. How the fuck do you rule that catch by the Jaguars receiver as fair when he’s just dragging his toes on his one foot while the other is out of bounds? It’s dumb as hell, but I love it.

Jags with a nice TD drive and they regain the lead 21-14.

Bengals win it with a FG. Tough loss for the Jags.

My fantasy kicker redeemed himself. Not like Tucker on Sunday with a record breaker, but, Bengals win!

Wow... what a game. Had me on the edge of my seat for most of the game. I feel bad for the Jags though. They played really good to lose this one.

McPherson drills it and the Bengals get the win 24-21!!!! Terrific game, great second half by the Bengals, Burrow was fantastic. The Jags put up a good fight and Lawrence was good, but they didn’t play well in the second half and that decision not to kick the FG and instead go for the TD at the end of the first half came back to bite them in the ass, and the Jags defense is just not very good.
The Bengals may be a surprise team, they are playing really well, I like what they have, if their O-Line holds up their offense is very good, and with the Ravens and Steelers dealing with a lot of injuries the Bengals could be the second best team in the AFC North.

Agree 100% on that! The NFL is a ratings juggernaut though. If the ratings sucked for Jags-Bengals then they wouldn't put a game like that on. But it'll still rate well. I suppose it must be good if you're a fan of a shitty small city team to get a prime time game but it does suck for the rest of the country!
I kinda look at this way, what else is there to watch? Not much... unless you're a pretty big fan of baseball, football really is the only choice on Thursday night.
And plus, we, the fans, get to see an extra game. We only get 3 games on Sunday afternoon to choose from, unless you buy NFL Sunday Ticket. Which is like what... $300 bucks?? then we get Sunday night game and Monday night game. Seriously, we should get more choices on Sunday.
And to be fair, the Thursday night games have been pretty damn good so far this season. In fact, that Giants and FT game was one of the best games of the entire season, Cowboys/Bucs was very good too. But yeah, last week's game (texans/panthers) did kinda suck though but only because Tyrod Taylor was hurt.
If you look at the schedule, it's not too bad for the rest of the season -
Rams/Seahawks Bucs/Eagles Broncos/Browns Packers/Cardinals Jets/Colts (lol... not very good)
Ravens/Dolphins Pats/Falcons (another questionable matchup) Bears/Lions - Raiders/Cowboys - Bills/Saints (thanksgiving day)
Cowboys/Saints Steelers/Vikings Chiefs/Chargers
9ers/Titans
Not sure what you guys are complaining about? Other than a few, it looks pretty good for most of the season.
To be honest, I wasn't talking about this season but rather historically the Thursday night games have seem to be crappy teams. And even the good teams usually don't play well 4 days after playing their last game. That being said, you're right about this seasons schedule. A couple of duds but not bad matchups at all. Also to be fair, last night's game wound up being a good watch. As for baseball, I'm a Mets fan so the season has been over since August!

I like baseball too (Astros fan) but when I can choose, it's gotta be football.
Hopefully these Thursday night games will continue to be good, that game last night was very entertaining.
