I still can't make myself watch the first one. It looked so bad and this looks the same.

Wait, it's seriously PG-13? Do these people actually know who Carnage is? You might as well make a PG-13 movie about Ted Bundy.

Apparently this is a movie that has a scene take place in 1996 in which Woody Harrelson is a teenager (even though Woody in real life was already 35 in 1996).

If this makes money, I wonder if they'll do the Maximum Carnage storyline next

59% ATM. Looks like a good sign(?). I can see this embracing the silliness like the first but done better.

If this makes money, I wonder if they'll do the Maximum Carnage storyline next From what I read, this is as close to it as we're probably gonna get. And it did end up making money;so far it grossed 4x its production budget.

I could be wrong, but I think the issue that ck100 is raising is that the age of the character in 1996 doesn't match with what Woody Harrelson's age would have been in 1996. ck worded it in such a way that makes it sound like he is assuming that Woody Harrelson plays his teenage self in the movie, but I don't think that is what he meant.

Ah, got it. Well... Yes, it's a common practice in the industry: Taking measures to make a male actor look younger than he is. In this case, Woody is given a love interest who in real life is 15 years younger than him, but in the flashback, they're both the same age. I'm actually surprised Michelle Williams was cast as Tom Hardy's love interest, since they're around the same age.
