WOW! I just bought a jar last week. Going to try a new recipe. It's called 'cake', but only has unsweetened applesauce beaten into gelatin and allowed to set up. It should help when we need something a little sweet and can't have 'real' cake.
I hope these shortages don't continue. I just noticed that two prescriptions I just had refilled are only a 'partial' refill. I'm assuming they're running low on meds. but didn't notice until I got them home. Worrying about that since we can't go without some meds we take.
I've also had to make doctor's appointments this past month. If you were seriously ill, you'd be screwed. One appointment is in a month, the other is in two months. Both are something that is worrisome, so I will be stressing about a diagnosis for several months.

Where you buy extra, so that you won't run out anytime soon, and have time to find and buy more... or... Where you buy stuff way ahead of time, so that you will have it when you need it. Such As, Perhaps, you might buy a Turkey in early October, so that you will be sure to have one for Thanksgiving dinner... ??
Yeah, I have been experiencing that for a while...
It sucks, wondering if and when we'll see our favorite products again...
I was hoping with the vaccines coming our earlier this year, we would be seeing less and less of that... But...
I've already started shopping for Christmas, since it seems, products may be limited this year, or shipments may be delayed, and so on.
Yep. FOMO,
I want to be sure to get all of my stuff now.
I'm even willing to pay a little more for it, than normal, to buy it, when I see it... and not shop shop somewhere else, hoping to get it cheaper, and then find out they don't have it...

No canned cat food on the grocery shelf yesterday. Some pasta shapes weren't heavily stocked. There was plenty of canned spinach and applesauce though.

I was at a Target today, and took a shortcut through the Baby section to get from Electronics to the Checkout lanes... When I noticed they had a section stocked with Diapers, and it was fully stocked with all kinds of Diapers... Grocery stores might be out, but clearly not this Target. Then I thought I have to let enigma72 know about it. Maybe it's just the ones here in the Indianapolis area that have them... but... It's worth a look, if you have any stores like those in your area.

PSA: FYI... I hear MACY'S, now has a small toy section, and some have some of the more popular Transformers toys, that some fans have been having trouble finding in other stores... Last year, ALDI's had a very small shipment of Transformers toys, but it was from a Wave, particular shipment, I've never seen anywhwere else... BEST BUY had some Transformers toys last year too... That is very kind of you to think of me and my problem 🤗 My daughter is 34 and has severe cerebral palsy.She uses adult diapers. So far Walmart has had them-- if not the nearest walmart one of the others. Lol I looked and they are made in China. I hope that doesn't become a problem. Thank you! I won't throw out any of my Bibles. |

I went to Rouses today, they had no table salt, sugar and frozen veggies. I'm going to Publix on Thursday. I think part of Rouses' problem is they are based in Louisiana and their main distribution center was badly damaged by the flooding this summer.
Sunshine, maybe you should start ordering from Chewy, they are out of some things but usually get those things in very quickly.
I watched an early morning news program on CNN, apparently farmers cannot get parts for their equipment (will take months) and its becoming very difficult for them to bring their harvest in. Both of my freezers are full and I have about 24 cans of Progresso soup. I finally found my Prego's Farmer's Market sauces so I bought 2 jars (we don't eat pasta often.) Schwan's seem to be keeping most of their products in stock for now. I think we Americans are spoiled a little, we panic when there are shortages of our favorite things, I try to remind myself of what Europeans (including the Brits) went through during and after WW2.
