Not sure how much of a "horror" song it is, but there is still something just very unsettling and creepy, like those 1950s sci-fi horror film, not the campy and ridiculous one, but the more paranoia and chilling ones, like Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and this Kraftwerk tune, sure remind me of those young and naive childhood days, were I spent time reading up some very over the top magazine that, of course much later on, turned out to be pure fiction, but for a kid, all these sci-fi, alien and monster stories, which were according to all those "witnesses" all very true. They often used images from horror films (which I had not seen) and they were quite well written, and scary, so going home all alone, in the dark woods at night, letting your imagination run wild, and yeah, music like this, still makes me reminded of those long and lonely walks and what might lurk in the dark, waiting to grab hold of me and so on.
Anyway, I love how unhuman, cold, minimalistic and just the whole atmospheric and haunting feel their music feels to me, and sounded at times, like it was made in some mad Doctor and his secret high-tech labroratory back in the day, and with the help of some alien resources:

A few favorites, taken from different horror (more or less) movies of 70s and 80s, and which have always given me the chills. Love these downright unsettling, atmospheric and very creepy minimalistic doomsday synths of that era:
Fred Myrrow and Malcolm Seagrave - Phantasm Atmosphere (1979)
Popol Vuh - Popol Vuh – Brüder Des Schattens (1979)
Jay Chattaway - Inner Voices (1980)
Brad Fiedel - Just Before Dawn (1981)
John Carpenter & Alan Howarth - Main Title (1982)
Brad Fiedel - Future Flashback (1984)
The Reds - Leed's House (1986)
