I think the NHL should follow the NBA's path & dress replacement players who are mostly already in a team's system. This isn't scabs crossing a labour line, this is making the best of a bad scenario. NHL & NBA teams can fiddle with 1pm weekday starts, who f'n cares, just keep the train rolling & let vaccinated players who test positive miss less than a week yes? Somehow we got through a hockey and basketball season last year that started before vaccines were widely available. Now that most people are vaxxed, we're shutting things down due to an increase in positive tests. Makes sense to me.
