In a broadcast to his sheep, Mark Stephen Lett, a member of the Watchtower governing body, said:
Stephen, I wouldn’t get too cocky about Jehovah’s communication skills. In my 57 years on this planet, He has never made any attempt to communicate with me.
So Jehovah communicated with the Bible writers. If Jehovah is the creator of everything, why use middle men? Why not conjure up five thousand bibles and leave them in hotel rooms (or mangers) for everyone to read? After all, the middle men must have gotten it wrong because that book keeps getting modified by just about every preacher that reads it. Come to think of it, the Governing Body, itself, has modified that book dozens of times since the Armageddon of 1917.

I've heard knuckleheads like Lett before, and they make me shake my head.
I'm a Christian, but when someone says something goofy in an effort to enhance a vision of the fundamentalist view, it just fails.
It's simple Math. The fundamentalist principle fails, because of the words written in their stone:
A: God is all good and perfect
B: God is all powerful in this existence
C: This same all good God created the Universe and the laws of Physics, laws in which not only organic life is in a state of decay, but which all matter is in a state of Entropy.
D. God wants us to have faith in all of this.
Well, the Math doesn't add up. I dare say most Christians are like me, with a belief in some degree of dualism or Gnosticism, but always in touch with the fact that the evil one (or ones) have power at least in this material world. Even Jesus said this.
The "communication" is missing. If Lett's version of God was correct, you would have no problem understanding how perfect the communication was.

Wouldn’t the greatest communicator be the guy who created Jehovah? Seriously, he isn’t as wrong as he thinks if he removes his enculturated notion that the “Communicator” comes in the form of a specific type of human being that exists at any one point in time. Though that will never happen for this poor soul. His old noggin can’t handle it. I daresay “God” is something like Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle. If you see It, you won’t recognize its actions, and if you see it actions, you won’t see an It being responsible for it. The stories in the Bible and elsewhere are wonderful in capturing what the ancients, in their very different world from ours, believed the great wonders of nature and human creativity to be God, but once that wonderment or enchantment was made into an idol or holy dogma, they no longer recognize god in the world. God becomes a static thing pressed into stone or paper. The aesthete authors of the Bible probably intuited this. Depending on which class wrote their thoughts down, they go into detail about their take on the ultimate unknowingness. A cornerstone of Judaism to this day is the Kabbalah. Jesus certainly was by all accounts an aesthete and he told his followers to stop looking for God in a temple, which he equated to an empty tomb, and go look for him in the face of your fellow human being. He got axed for that, and though the “spirit” of his message lives on, his less spiritual followers proceeded to put and keep him under lock and key in a institutional tomb…ironically using a story of him escaping a tomb as proof they own his Word. But Jehovah’s Holy Spirit Communicator is a stand up comic and the joke is on this pious fool who thinks he can hold God in the palm of his hands. Nice post, Paul.

It would be particularly absurd for, of all stripes of Christians, a Jehovah's Witness to defend the assertion that "Jehovah is the greatest communicator in the universe"... since they also assert that, of the 2.5 billion Christians in the world, less than 1% (JWs, of course) correctly understand God's message. What does it say about the communication skills of someone when over 99% of those who think they correctly understand his message actually don't?

IIRC, nowhere in history has anyone claimed that Yahweh communicated to them via mail, phone, or a pre-arranged meeting. The Lord is omnipresent and direct communications is what Jehovah does. • On 13-JUL-1994, Mike Murdock (That asshole with two planes) claims to have spoken to the Holy Spirit, thereby falling in love with him. • In a YouTube video, evangelist Jesse Duplantis claims to have had a conversation with God while flying in Jesse’s jet plane. God asked Jesse if he like the new plane that the Lord had provided him. (and people believe this crap?) • At a Q&A with Richard Dawkins, one of the audience members asked Dawkins why he was an atheist because he (the audience member) had spoken directly with God. Dawkins replied that while he thought the elderly gentleman was sincere; Dawkins claimed it was a delusion. • There are stories throughout The Bible where humans have spoken to God. Then again, that’s what the Bible is: an anthology of stories written by delusional people that claim to have spoken to Jehovah. Which brings up a question: If Yahweh is the creator of everything, why didn’t he create the telephone (or jet plane, or printing press) 6000 years ago when He created the universe. After assembling the Milky Way galaxy, one would think that putting together a Nikon camera would be a snap. Instead, he created Satan so that Satan could take the blame for all the evil in this world (like erectile disfunction), even though it was Jehovah that actually did it.
