There's been so many big franchises this century and 'Twilight' took a lot of heat. Director Catherine Hardwicke worked as a production designer for Roger Corman early in her career so I knew she'd be the right person to guide this ship.
In the U K, everybody was 'Harry Potter' crazy, and Daniel Radcliffe's done some fine work in theatre and film. But Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have become two of cinema's most interesting performers, I feel.
What do you think?

I re-read the books earlier this year because…well I don’t know. Both leads did a a great job these characters are bland as fuck. People make fun but they really nailed it.

They’re fine. The Twilight movies aren’t terrible either. I mean they’re melodramatic and targeted toward immature teens…so in that respect they are bad…but exactly what they appear to be.

With the obvious exception of Taylor Lautner I agree. It's a shame this franchise had such talent behind it and absolutely none of them put any effort into it.
