Chris Sale is not a big game pitcher. I don't know if he dislikes the spotlight, the pressure or he just likes to throw against the Tigers and Orioles of the baseball world (sorry Nut.) In 2018, the Red sox had the big lead and had a huge series against the Yanks after the AS Break. The Yanks one big change to get back in it. Sale was to pitch the first game. Lo and behold, Chrissy goes on the DL with an "owwie". It didn't matter, Brian Johnson sent the Yankees on a Highway to Hell (see what I did there?), the Sox swept the Yanks and they were Shot Down in Flames (oop, that was Bon Scott). Shit like that isn't what you expect from your nine figure ace who you traded the farm for.
