I’ve Grown Fonda Thinkin’ About My Game This Afternoon

...My game? Well, maybe like Casy* says, a fella ain’t got a game of his own, but only a little piece of a big game — the one big game that belongs to everybody. Then it don’t matter. I’ll be all around on the board. I’ll be everywhere — wherever you can look. Wherever there’s a quiz so movie lovers can play, I’ll be there. Wherever there’s a stumper beating up a guy, I’ll be there …I’ll be in the way guys yell when they’re matchin’ — I’ll be in the way posters laugh when they’re hungry and they know supper’s ready but they’re gonna keep playing anyway. And when the people are matchin’ the stars they love and linkin up the roles they played and answering irritatingly obscure trivia questions— why, I’ll be there too.
