directed by Renny Harlin and starring Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson. Movie was a big flop and continued the downward spiral of Harlin and Davis's careers (both had also teamed up for the studio killing bomb Cutthroat Island the previous year). Movie seems to have a cult following though. Funny how Brian Cox tends to appear in movies about amnesia with this movie, X2, and the Bourne movies

It's too bad this flopped. It's pretty good. Geena Davis and SLJ were great, the action's exciting, and that bridge explosion at the end is one of the best ever.

I need to see this one again, it's been so long. I do remember it being a good action flick.

Samuel L. Jackson has said this is one of his favorite Samuel L. Jackson movies.

Gawd , I had the hots for Geena Davis. All I recall is that she looked Fab, got tied up at some point, Sam was in it, and I was probably too distracted by the lady to focus on anything else. As just said by another IMDbeastie boy.....I think I'll revisit........with a steadier eye.

It has one of my favorite exchanges in a movie.
After Genes Davis flashes Samuel L Jackson to distract him before ripping off his bandage she says it’s the same theory used when deflowering a virgin, you but their ear a little bit to distract them from the pain.
To which Sammy J replies “I usually just smack em in the jaw and yell Pop Goes the Weasel!”
Lol has me laughing just thinking about it.

Underappreciated movie, like much of the director's sterling work.
