Tell me.
I think that the movie is a good and fun popcorn superhero flick, they just should redo the digital claws sequence in the Hudson family's bathroom.
I don't see anything wrong with it, quite frankly.
Emma Silverfox and Wade/Weapon XI are just reinterpretations. Weapon XI was scary and frightening. Who cares about having a comic book faithful adaptation? Later, we got the two Deadpool movies and the Deadpool cinematic universe. The character is a bit overrated anyway.
In terms of continuity, Emma Silverfox, Quicksilver and Banshee could be seen as an issue, but we can suppose that they are clones created by Essex/WideAwake.
There are no other continuity problems.
The movie is set in 1983. 15 years before "X-Men" (1999). Cyclops is 18 years old, exactly like he was in "X-Men: Apocalypse".

No. Not canon. And every copy should be burned.

I've always enjoyed the film... and despite whatever strong points or weak points it might have, I'd say it's definitely apart of canon.

The only part of this movie that was interesting was the flashback to his childhood. And that part is only like twenty seconds.

I thought the movie takes place in 1979? No. Scott/Cyclops is 18 years old, as revealed in "Apocalypse" (set in 1983). James Logan joined Stryker in late 1973. He left Team X in 1977. 6 years before the events of "Origins". 1983 + 15 years = 1998. "X-Men"/X2 are set in 1999, and the characters were rounding up dates. It's perfect.

Not that that version was good, but bringing back Shrieber’s version would’ve messed with the canon. Origins alone raised the question of why they didn’t seem to know each other in X1.

About Sabretooth: Victor Creed underwent a secondary mutation and evolved into Sabretooth. Or maybe, someone experimented on him in the 1983-1999 timespan. 16 years. Maybe Stryker... because we know that Stryker did not stay in prison for too long, after the events of "Origins". Logan lost his memory and he couldn't recognize Victor anyway, because Victor as Sabretooth looked vastly different. Sabretooth lost his memory too, but he did seem to recognize Logan's dog tags in X1. Nice touch! Vague reminiscences...

And Sabetooth was not meant to be Logan’s brother in X1. In any case, Origins is not canon so it matters not.

It's not inconsistency at all. Both the characters lost their memory. And it's obvious that Victor underwent a secondary mutation. Even in "Logan", Old Man Logan aknowledges that he and Victor had been teammates at some point, and that Victor was Sabretooth.

Victor was mentioned in Logan? I don’t recall that. What scene?

It's a deleted scene, unfortunately.
I understand that you don't like the movie. But why shouldn't it be seen as canon anyway?

Plain and simple. Some movies are so bad they should not be considered canon. I don’t consider The Incredible Hulk MCU canon either, purely on the basis that it is ass on wheels.

The movie is very good. It's as much good and entertaining as any "generic" MCU entry like "Thor 2" or whatever. The only sequence that should be "redone" is the bathroom one, because the CGI claws were not good on that.

Its canon. It just re-written canon. Days of Future past makes some changes to the previous movies in the franchise. But its still canon.
