Giants brain trust kept Doval in one batter too long. He didn't have it. Shades of Grady Little. Giants really need to keep the runner at 3rd from scoring

It was a horrible call, although even with it not being called, I'm betting on Scherzer to punch him out on the very next pitch.
If that was a fifteen game series, somebody would have won it 8-7. Such an equal match up.
