I am toying with the idea of re-reading Dumas' masterpiece...or re-watching one of the many many films made of this epic novel. So recommendations s'il vous plait. The version with DiCaprio (The man in the Iron Mask) has been suggested

The Three Musketeers(73) is on Film4 right now. Film4+1 in a few minutes. Just saw it last week and it was a bit all over the place. Spike Milligan was hilarious though.
The 48 one would probably be the best, haven't seen any of the newer ones.

I watched the first episode of 'Dogatanion and the three Muskehounds' with my daughter a year or two back on youtube.
Gotta say, after all these years, still a bloody good cartoon, sadly I enjoyed it more than she did.
