What a bizarre finish to regulation. Game tied at 20 going to OT.

Don't think I've ever seen Mike Tomlin so pissed. Why did they spike it? Probably so they can hike it when they want to on the field goal instead of having to hike it on the whistle for the field goal.

Here is my recap and analysis of Week 6’s games
Steelers defeat Seahawks 23-20. Steelers get the win in OT, they played a solid game on both sides of the ball, their defense, especially TJ Watt, made some big plays and the offense was decent, the Steelers are at 500 now and they definitely have the talent to make the playoffs, but they are in a very tough division, it will be interesting to see where they go from here. The Seahawks put up a good effort, but without Wilson they will struggle and I don’t see them as being able to make the playoffs.
Cowboys defeat Patriots 35-29. Thrilling, bizarre game with the Cowboys coming out on top, Prescott was terrific, throwing for 445, and the Cowboys offense played a great game. The Cowboys are very impressive, their offense is playing really well and their defense is improved and can force turnovers, and I think the Cowboys are clearly the best team in the NFC East. The Pats are competitive and I like Jones as a QB but they are rather thin on both sides of the ball, and I don’t think they can get to a 500 or above season, they just don’t have enough talent.
Packers defeat Bears 24-14. Packers with their 5th straight win, they are playing well on both sides of the ball, they have a complete team and are a top tier team, they do have some injuries in the secondary which could hurt them but overall they are very good. The Bears are average, their defense is pretty good but their offense is subpar, and Fields hasn’t been impressive so far, I don’t see the Bears as a playoff caliber team.
Chiefs defeat Washington 31-13. Chiefs played a great second half and their offense exploded, Mahomes threw for 397 and the Chiefs pulled away and got a much needed win. The Chiefs are a very dangerous team, but they need to cut down on the turnovers going forward. Washington is interesting, they have some talent but their defense has been very poor this season which has been a big surprise, and they aren’t going to be a good team unless their defense drastically improves.
Cardinals defeat Browns 37-14. Cards remain unbeaten despite their coach being absent, they are playing outstanding football, Murray is playing great and they are strong on both sides of the ball. This was a dominant road win, and they are one of the NFL’s best teams. The Browns were without Chubb which hurt them, and Mayfield isn’t playing as well as they need him to, he needs to improve going forward, and the Browns defense isn’t playing as well as they could be either. The Browns have a lot of talent but they need to improve going forward in the very competitive AFC North.
Ravens defeat Chargers 34-6. Ravens won with a dominant defensive performance and a strong rushing attack, they are playing really well despite their injuries, their defense is solid and their offense is good at both rushing and passing, I’m impressed with how Lamar is playing and how their rushing attack is still solid and their defense is underrated. Lousy performance from the Chargers, they looked very poor, and this performance gives me pause about them going forward, although they have a good amount of talent, I’m not sure just how good they are, they will contend for the playoffs, they will be interesting to watch.
Vikings defeat Panthers 34-28. Vikings win in OT, their offense was very strong as it has been for most of the season, I like this team and think their offense is one of the NFL’s best, but their defense is disappointing once again, they allowed a 90+ yard drive to tie the game at the end of the 4th quarter and they aren’t playing as well as they could be. I’m curious as to whether the Vikings can contend for the playoffs. The Panthers have a good team but a subpar QB, Darnold is just not very good and I don’t think they can make the playoffs with him as their QB, if they had a good QB they would be a very good team but as it is they are decent but unpredictable.
Raiders defeat Broncos 34-24. Raiders with an impressive win after all of the chaos surrounding them this week, they played a very good game especially on offense, Carr looked very sharp and the Raiders dominated. The Raiders are off to a pretty good start to the season, and I think they have a shot at the playoffs. The Broncos are the weakest team in the AFC West IMO, they aren’t playing well right now, their defense isn’t playing up to their potential, and their offense is shaky.
Colts defeat Texans 31-3. Colts with a dominant win, I think the Colts are better than their record indicates, and they will improve as the season goes on, I think if Wentz is solid and doesn’t turn the ball over they are a good team. The Texans suck, they are an awful team with very little talent, and they will be lucky if they win another game.
Rams defeat Giants 38-11. Dominant win for the Rams, they are a top tier team, Stafford is playing well and they are very talented and explosive, they are a definite threat. The Giants are decimated by injuries, Jones isn’t playing well and I have a lot of doubts about him but all of the injuries make it hard to be too critical of Jones, and the Giants are in too deep of a hole to go anywhere this season.
Bengals defeat Lions 34-11. Solid win for the Bengals, their offense is very solid, and their defense is better than expected, I think the Bengals have a shot at the playoffs and it will be very interesting to see how they do in the very tough AFC North. The Lions suck, least talented team in the NFL IMO, and I think they may go winless.
Jaguars defeat Dolphins 23-20. Trevor Lawrence gets his first win in the NFL and the Jags get their first win of the season, they aren’t going anywhere this season but I think Lawrence is improving and the Jags will be better in the future, I don’t think Urban Meyer is a good NFL coach though. The Fins are really struggling, they have no rushing attack and Tua hasn’t impressed me or shown me that he can carry this team, and the Fins haven’t played up to their potential after a solid season last year.
Any thoughts?

Where is the respect for the GOAT?!
Bucs vs. Eagles.
Hurry up before Frogs notice that you have omitted his team!

In the Bengals/Lions game, the best block was the one by Ja'Marr Chase for Joe Mixon's 40 yard TD reception. Chase was just the #5 overall selection that the experts said his team was making a mistake selecting over someone the Lions ended up picking.

The Broncos are the weakest team in the AFC West IMO, they aren’t playing well right now, their defense isn’t playing up to their potential, and their offense is shaky. Any thoughts? The game really was bizarre, wasn't it? So bizarre in fact that I thought the Patriots D played well at times, until I realized they gave up 567 yards of offense! The Cowboys had 100+ yards in penalties and still won. I'm sure the Belichick defenders have a simple explanation as to why the defensive mastermind always seems to give up a million yards and a ton of points, but I won't make this post about him. Once again I liked what I saw in Mac Jones, I hope they take him off the leash and see if he can sling it a little once it's obvious the season is over (I mean we're close to being there from my perspective, but not quite yet). Also, that pick six from Diggs was incredible. Just the fact that he wasn't necessarily expecting to catch the the ball, and he was still bobbling it as he hurdled the receiver, then headed straight for the end zone like it was his route all along. That play really let the air out of the balloon, then BOOM we get that TD on the deep ball that I knew we'd go for after an entire game of underneath stuff. Too bad the defense couldn't hold after that, but again I'm used to it. To be fair, that Dallas team has a ton of weapons. Disappointed in the Broncos after a hot start, as you said yesterday they definitely seem like frauds at this point. They have a tough schedule, too. Only the Eagles, Lions and WFT look like wins on paper. Maybe they can get it going against a banged up Cleveland team on Thursday.

I was at work checking game stats, yet even the laughable play # discrepancy between Dallas & New England painted enough for me.
At least with losses, the garbage time try anything with Mac is on the table now I'd hope. Including auditioning WR's who think they're good for 2022 just by waking up everyday.
