Rodgers after scoring the game winning touchdown over Chicago. "All My fucking life, I own you! I still own you!!!" Pure savagery.

And the Bears have been historically great during his entire career, quite an accomplishment.

Too bad he can’t say that in the NFC championship.

This was definitely unorthodox from Rodgers. He's not one to trash talk much unless provoked. My guess is that there were tons of Bears fans rooting for the Bears to injure him today leading into this game. Bears and Vikings fans seem to obsess over this. Some Vikes fans crowning achievement was when Barr broke his collarbone. Yeah, I know all fan bases have toxic garbage but maybe Rodgers saw some of it or maybe the crowd live were talking shit. I was just happy they won as it would have been incredibly bad had they then lost.

I am LOVING the talking head response to this.
First I listened to was the Athletic Football Show podcast with Robert Mays and Nate Tice. Mays is a huge Bears fan who I respect because he doesn't try to sell hot takes. Nate Tice is an OG wrestling fan as am I. So they did a segment they do every week of "who won the belt?"
Mays says Rodgers won the belt because Bears fans have no counterpart to Rodgers saying he owns them. The wrestling quote was Undertaker saying "Rest in peace." Tice basically said the Packers Tombstoned the Bears.
I love this podcast. Its honest and it sticks in wrestling references.
