How many here were fans before they were moved to Baltimore? I always thought that sucked, and to this day I will never root for the Ravens (except for the SB against the Giants) because of it. How it could have been with the Ravens winning 2 SB while the Browns never been to any, and the Browns qb, #1 in the draft, nowhere close to as good as the qb the Ravens have, taken at the end of the same draft

They've had time to get over it. I doubt they see the Ravens as their team at this point. That first Super Bowl probably hurt, though.

I don't think many fans are still comparing the two teams in a 'look what we could have had' way anymore. If nothing else, it's pretty remarkable that the Browns came back to Cleveland even if it's a new franchise, technically. I'm sure they're grateful for that.
I also think they're happy with Baker. He seems well liked there. Lamar Jackson has been great so far, but there's no telling whether or not Mayfield may have a longer and/or better career overall... Also, for the record, they have very similar stats this year.

I'm from England but have supported the Cleveland Browns since childhood. My hero growing up was qb Bernie Kosar. I couldn't be happier now, but it was painful at the time, and obviously a living hell for the great fans who are from Ohio. Still, a landmark ruling allowed a football city to retain its name, retain its history and build a new team. Ozzie Newsome worked wonders in Baltimore and I don't begrudge their great fans who lost their own Colts team overnight. I don't doubt Baker Mayfield wants to play while popping his shoulder back in on Thursday, that's the kind of qb Cleveland now has. OBJ is the highest paid player on the roster, he's put up short yardage and dropped some catches since coming back after a long layoff, yet Browns fans chanted "OBJ OBJ" on Sunday while a section of the negative sports press led by the likes of empty Chris Cowherd and arrogant "look at me, look at me" critic Osi Umenyiora piled it all on Mayfied. As Coach Kevin Stefanski says, "shut the noise out" and keep working. If Baker Mayfield is exposed on Thursday against old foe Denver, presumably without Jack Conklin, Jedrick Wills and Chris Hubbard in the line-up, Joe Thomas might need to suit back up. I figure Mayfield either will need to release the ball early or make way for Case Keenum on the short week, time will tell and Coach Stefanski might have a tough decision to make. With Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt and Andy Janovich out of the backfield, it's next man up and an opportunity for runners on the roster. Jarvis Landry can play any position, including backs, but he's out injured, so the receivers might need to keep coming short, make some simple runs, slant routes and all that jazz. With the defense playing wildly inconsistent, the offense could be stretched to the limit. Mayfield's given his best for Cleveland - sometimes I think he gets clobbered as a result of hanging on to the ball too long and trying to do too much which is something that can be worked on - so I hope he keeps on keepin on ...
