Am I the only one who would like to see Vince Carter on this list? Played over 2 decades. Unheard of. 8× NBA All-Star (2000–2007) All-NBA Second Team (2001) All-NBA Third Team (2000) NBA Rookie of the Year (1999) NBA All-Rookie First Team (1999) NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion (2000) NBA Sportsmanship Award (2020) NBA Teammate of the Year (2016)

Paul Pierce also made the list. Not surprisingly there are a whole lot of Celtics on that list.

Damian Lillard and Russell Westbrook did. Westbrook is defensible, Lillard not so much. In the end Mutombo and Howard are too one dimensional. I don't have a problem with Carter and King missing the cut.

No. That would be an impossible undertaking. Hell, even coming up with a top 75 must have been brutal.

If only Klay had been playing these past 2 years.

I won't argue with anybody who states that Jo-Jo doesn't belong But Anthony Davis and Dame over Jo-Jo? (and I like Dame - he'll be a Sixer soon)Seriously? There was a time when people argued AD was a better player than Jo-Jo Would you take AD over Jo-Jo now? Who do you think ends up with the better career? And spare me that AD has a title - he bolted to L.A. and won with LeBron
Jo-Jo is light years better than AD

If only Klay had been playing these past 2 years. Even taking that into consideration I think he belongs over Dame. And I like Dame a lot. It seems like part of the formula were accolades such as all-NBA teams, which comes down to competition at your position. Dame has had some big moments, but I feel like he's the king of the first round while Thompson is a key cog in a dynasty.

I don't think there are any egregious errors on the list. Lillard making is surprises me. Tracy McGrady was a dominant player in this league for a number of years, it must be his lack of postseason success that kept him off the list. I feel like he should've made it, but I'm also not willing to play the, "Well who would you take off the list?" game. You're splitting hairs once you get into who the 76th best player of all time is. Is there a list of other players who got votes? Curious to see how close Tommy Heinsohn was to making it, or key members of the Spurs dynasty like Ginobili and Parker. Now that I think about it, Lillard being in over Parker is a travesty.
Congratulations to all the players who were named. To me, this is a greater honor than the Hall of Fame. There are 178 players in the HOF; this is saying in the history of the game, you are one of the 75 best players ever to pick up a basketball. It's a hell of an accomplishment.

I've been listening to/reading people whine about Tony Parker all morning
He benefited from playing with Duncan, Manu, Kawhi amongst others under coach Pop
This is the equivalent to people stating Chris Bosh, Dennis Johnson or Danny Ainge should have made the list

Parker was a Finals MVP, you don't fall into that. Too bad 'the most skilled big man of all time' is nowhere to be found.

Ironic that 76 players made the top 75.
No Mullin, Dantley, King, Vince, Dwight, Motumbo, Grant Hill

Ironic that 76 players made the top 75. No Mullin, Dantley, King, Vince, Dwight, Motumbo, Grant Hill Seems crazy that there was a tie. I guess there was no way to avoid that possibility. Hill's injuries prevented him from ever being the player he was destined to be. Howard and Mutombo have better cases than Carter and Hill in my opinion. Dantley and King belong in over Reggie Miller. Miller is getting props for memorable moments and being a three point specialist more than how his career stacks up against other players.

I see the NBA's top 50 from years ago all made it.
I don't see who I'd take off for Luka, Embiid, or Klay.
What about Parker or Ginobili?
The NHL list isn't as deep. Alas, we'll have to wait another 25 years to see those guys on the top 100, when likely these 75 players also all get voted in again.

Of course you've got your outliers here like Jordan and LeBron.....
I get if you don't want to include him because of longevity - he's still a young spry pup - but I find AD over Jo-Jo insulting
