I think I have included 51 titles (not including "other") and have myself seen 47 of these. So, What are your favorite of these gay-themed movies? Please choose up to ten. I'm going for a wide selection with the ten count, mostly because I love so many of these movies! I would not expect most posters to choose that many titles.
1. "In a Year with 13 Moons" 2. "Fox and His Friends" 3. "The Lost Language of Cranes" 4. "The Boys in the Band" 5. "The Consequence" 6. "La Cage Aux Folles" 7. "Nighthawks" 8. "To Wong Foo: Julie Newmar, Thanks for Everything" 9. "The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant" 10. "Un Chant d' Amour"

Victim-ahead-of-its-time drama that avoids stereotypes and dated attitudes In and Out--hilarious ensemble comedy
Other--The Wedding Banquet--I've always liked Sihung Lung.

Other - The Handmaiden (2016) Rope (1948) I second both of these, mainly because they were variables in a movies with many variables, and not the main focus e.g. romance, otherwise they'd just be unrelatable to me.

Anyone looking for a great drama should watch The Boys in the Band (1970). It’s one of the best movies I’ve seen.

Brokeback Mountain Rope My Own Private Idaho Other: Scream Midnight Cowboy Rebel Without a Cause The Handmaiden The Favourite The Lost Boys Chasing Amy I've seen "Scream" a few times. I can't remember their being any gay content. And I thought about "Midnight Cowboy", as it is one of my favorite movies. But I didn't include it on my list because Joe Buck isn't really gay. He only goes with the gay johns because his original notion about servicing rich, older women fell apart right away and he didn't feel like he knew how to do anything else, so he started letting other men suck his cock.

Anyone looking for a great drama should watch The Boys in the Band (1970). It’s one of the best movies I’ve seen. I love that movie. I saw it on VHS when I was 15 or 16 years old. Fell in love with the characters right away. I think it was the first gay movie I ever saw.

Maurice The Birdcage Brokeback Mountain Call Me By Your Name Moonlight Love, Simon Mysterious Skin The Broken Hearts Club I forgot about "The Broken Hearts' Club". I do like that movie, especially for being comparatively new. I just forgot to include it.
