They were scoring at the rate of 0-9 at f/t so I am a bit disappointed it finished only 0-5.

Huh? Or maybe it's not a huh at all. Liverpool expose Solskjaer in devastating fashion. No answer for this. No answer at all. For once I will watch MOTD. Well done Krippen.

No pride, no heart. Can’t say it was tactics that lost that. The players have to burden the responsibility here.

"I do believe in myself. I am getting close." - Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the match today.
That was a recent media sub-header and it's easy to invent the rest yourself. Let's look at the statement in full.
"I do believe in myself. I am getting close to what I want with the club, what we’ve done, what I’ve seen, the development,”
Maybe he should have stopped at 'close' - I don't think any of us could have conjured a more condemnatory continuation than the man himself.

He's sounding a bit Daft Punk there old Ole - "We've come too far to give up who we are". Perhaps he'll Get Lucky and won't get sacked in the morning. Although personally I wouldn't bet against it...

Liverpool is on the way to win its biggest win on Old Trafford ever. The biggest win is from 1928 when Liverpool won 6-1 The last time Liverpool scored 5 goals against Manchester United on Old Trafford was in 1953. When they won 5-1 Liverpool biggest win over Manchester United is from 1895 when Liverpool won 7-1 on Anfield. I think that it's fair to say thay Liverpool might have scored another 2/3 goals, if they had needed to.

Stop laffing and jeering for a minute but in all consciousness is there any way that OGS can survive this. He's been given a dream team but they are so far off the levels of Liverpool, Man City, and Chelsea, both individually and as a team that it might take several seasons and an enormous chunk of luck for any OGS team to get near them. Compare Maguire to Vigil, Rudiger or Diaz or Fred to Jorgino, DeBruyne, or Henderson and you get a measure of his problem. The meeja, before the game, reported that Conte would be interested in the job, should it become vacant. Pack your bags, Signore

Man U board must avoid any situation comparable to that of Steve Bruce who was villified by one and all at Newcastle. OGS is losing sympathizers at a rate of knots and should not become a target for abusive loudmouths

The players should be competing with anyone, the only thing stopping it is the presence of a top notch coaching team. OGS seems to be very average tactically and cannot turn things around in game time. Too many Divas, (Ronaldo's and Pogba's on pitch tantrums and tackles are embarrassing) and no discipline since the real management made it clear with Jose's sacking that player power was more important to them. Buying Ronaldo was a mistake, money could have been far better spent elsewhere in the squad, just too many bad decisions. It is hard for them, even with an average manager not to finish top 6, but just can't see them putting a serious top 3 challenge together without a managerial talent to match the players. Top 4 squad, bottom 4 manager.

Stop laffing and jeering for a minute but in all consciousness is there any way that OGS can survive this. It's possible - they got hammered by Spurs by the same margin last season then got knocked out the CL by Leipzig. Looked like he'd be gone then but they recovered to finish second in the league. I feel a bit sorry for Ole actually with the Ronaldo situation. I heard the first murmurings from the pundits yesterday re what happened with the summer plan signing Sancho, etc but he's got to play the marketing signing Ronaldo all the time really. It's not like he can build a team for the future when he's got him and Cavani on fortunes and demanding to be played.

Good point about Cavani and CR7, and you might add 'I'm going, No I'm staying, I'm thinking about it' Pogba. To some extent he has had these players imposed on him and I'm sure they ignore any tactics that OGS tries to get them to use ,but as we saw with Jose, 'player-power rules OK' at Old Trafford. The minute that Ollie turns from being Mr Nice to Mr Manager, they'll have him out on his arse.
