Blade (Blade, 1998) is my solo Monster Hunter. Was gonna do it but had my own rules. Wasn't the pick I thought you'd make though.

Norman Bates as my Serial Killer. Kind of the first slasher movie villain, and kind of the basis for nearly all movie serial killers going forward. I mean, come on... it's Psycho for fuck's sake.

Satan: John Milton from The Devil's Advocate 1997 Don't act like this wasn't a steal. I don't think I ever realized that he was named Jonn Milton, like the poet who wrote Paradise Lost... not subtle, but that's not what that movie was going for.

It'd be like making a new movie about a haunted hotel and naming the villain Stephen King.

It's been an hour, so I'll pick again. Beast - The Beast Of Gévaudan (Brotherhood of the Wolf, 2001) I was waiting for that, although shouldn't it be in the Creature category? It was a lion in the movie, which is a real life animal. Creature is for supernatural stuff.

We're getting into an interpretive area here, whether it would count or not, but that amazing design of that creature doesn't count for this pick now, right? Is there a chance I'm overthinking this and taking it too seriously?

Is there a chance I'm overthinking this and taking it too seriously? Are we still talking about BOTW? It was a lion with some funky barding to make it appear as a supernatural creature. It was a great design by the filmmakers. Regarding the events in the actual film, the whole point was they took a real creature, trained it to be even more vicious and dressed it up in order to scare the hell out of people to push their agenda. It's a 'beast' by definition in this draft (and also by name, how convenient!).

It's a 'beast' by definition in this draft (and also by name, how convenient!). All true, but when it's presented as a supernatural creature is when it looks the best, is all I'm saying. And for this category it wouldn't include that look because in its natural state it would look that way... again... I probly don't need to dissect it this much... Also, as a side note, when the guy had to make the regular wolf look like a supernatural beast post-mortem, that also looked pretty sweet.
