Witch - God played by Alanis Morissette in Dogma (1999) Take that bitches, I win. Kidding. Witch - Muriel (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, 2013) This movie is hilarious fun if you haven't seen it. I'm surprised it exists; or at least I'm surprised it had the budget it had and stars Jeremy Renner. And no, you can't choose God. Never seen it always seemed so dumb, and I never really heard a lot of people defending it. But I'm okay with Jeremy Renner, and I like Gemma Arterton a lot. And now, looking at the cast, Peter Stormare, Famke Janssen, and Derek Mears are all the more reason to give it a shot. And I see that the guy who directed the Dead Sno movies directed it. I shouldn't have been so dismissive.

Nobody is going to take the vampires or werewolves from Twilight? I guess those are more for the fantasy draft? We should set this up so that if someone breaks the rules, they get assigned a garbage pick. Like if you don't wait the hour, or if not enough people pick after you before your subsequent pick, or if you're just an annoying twat, you get assigned someone terrible, unilaterally selected by our esteemed commissioner. Not surprised nobody went for that garbage franchise. I do like the idea of shitty pick punishment. I feel like I should punish Shane Falco for getting mouthy after I so graciously allowed him to use Hermione.

I think Renner carries it and makes it a legit supernatural action/comedy. With a bad actor, it's probably unwatchable.

A movie called The Brothers Grimm with that cast and directed by Terry Gilliam should have been great... but it's an unfocused mish mash of genre, tone, and muddled characterization. I think Gilliam was meddled with by the Weinsteins (what a shock) when Dimension took over production duties. Shame. Also, I'm sure I've gone on and on about this in the past, but the best version of all the universal monsters in one thing is Penny Dreadful. That show could have been so good if it was allowed to be after the 2nd season.

It's my time to land on a werewolf, however, these creatures aren't "werewolves," per se. The Gallier clan from Paul Schrader's remake of Cat People (1982). They turn into leopards instead of wolves. I was going to pick James Spader from Wolf, but that movie never really gels. Cat People I haven't seen in over 30 years, but it's one of those movies my sisters made me watch when I was really little (along with The Exorcist) and it scared the bejesus out of me.
Slasher: Freddy Krueger (ANOES 1984) Beast: Jaws (Jaws 1975) Serial Killer: John Doe (Seven 1995) Monster Hunters: The Monster Squad (The Monster Squad 1987) Creature: Brundle Fly (The Fly 1986) Creature (small): Krites (Critters, 1986) Zombies - Return of the Living Dead (1986) Demon - Lead Cenobite (Hellraiser, 1987) Cult - Thuggees (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, 1984) Witch - Madame Blanc/Helena Markos (Suspiria, 2018) Possessed Thing - Christine (1983) Evil Genius - The Tall Man from Phantasm (1979) Monster Hunter, Solo - Constantine (2005) Alien - The alien from Slither (2006) Revenant - Brayker (Demon Knight 1995) Werepanthers - Galliers (Cat People, 1982)
