Haunted House/Location: Overlook Hotel from The Shining 1980 This was going to be my next pick! Had this not been TV or Film based i would have gone with a video game and chosen the haunted village from Fatal Frame 2. I figured tge Overlook would be an early pick. I wanted to get 4 in late last night so just picked ones I didn't over think. Some of these im really having to think about.

It's been an hour, so I'll wrap up my daily round with the Blair Witch herself. Slasher - Candyman (1992) Ghost - Sadako (The Ring, 1998) Demon - Pazuzu (The Exorcist, 1973) Curse - Drag Me to Hell (2009) Haunted House - The Forbidden Room (Pulse, 2001) Serial Killer - Hannibal Lecter (The Silence of the Lambs, 1991) Witch - The Blair Witch (The Blair Witch Project, 1999) You get four picks a day, so you've still got one left. I was wondering if anyone would take the Blair Witch. I like the pick, but I wonder, how do you draft a character we never actually see? We see her in the 3rd film very briefly but not the one chosen. It made the film far better never seeing her imo.

I remember it being silly and pretty incomprehensible, but I haven't seen it in a long time. I know the director has essentially disowned it and claimed the film he was making was meddled with.

I know I've seen it but it was so uneventful I dont remember much of it. It didn't really seem like it had anything to do with the original. It was like they just stuck Blair Witch in the title if I remember correctly.

My midnight pick is...
Serial Killer - Angela Baker (Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers, 1988)
I'm a huge fan of Sleepaway Camp 2 and 3. The original is okay but the real campy fun is in the sequels.

New draft day (I said I’d be busy this week, yet here I am essentially camping outside the draft hall ready to get my pick in) and I’m still confident that my top pick won’t be taken anytime soon - so I’m grabbing Sofia Boutella’s Ahmanet from The Mummy (2017). Not a good movie (Russell Crowe is atrocious) but I love Boutella in everything.

Nice pick. Yeah the movie sucks, but there's a badass mummy for you.

Gotta take the residents of Summersisle from The Wicker Man... the real one, from 1973... for my cult. There are a lot of interesting cults in movies, but this has to be the ultimate one.

Since Goons took my first choice cult, I’d better be quick and snap up my backup: the Hårga commune from Midsommar (2019).

Since Cults are suddenly all the rage, I better snag mine now. It isn't a horror movie, but there are definitely horror elements to this movie. And just look at this intro and tell me, A. This isn't hilarious; B. This isn't awesome; C. This isn't a badass cult you wouldn't want to mess with.
