Quinton de Kock pulled out of South Africa's T20 World Cup match against West Indies in Dubai on Tuesday in the wake of CSA's board saying they had "unanimously agreed to issue a directive" that all players should take a knee before matches. CSA stands for national cricket board of South Africa, The CSA ordered all the players of South African cricket team to take a knee. Quinton de Kock an amazingly talented cricketer of South Africa refused to take a knee and accordingly decided not play in the first round match of t-20 cricket world cup. Nice job BLM and its supporters. www.cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/119565/quinton-de-kock-cricket-south-africa-icc-t20-world-cup-2021-taking-the-knee-blm-cricbuzzcom

He understood why the rest did kneel (prejudice, discrimination, injustice)- but for his own personal beliefs he had family in the military and he himself felt it was disrespectful to the flag
He was unfortunately vilified by a lot of people

Let's try to imagine what if we had to take a knee for keeping our jobs? Would you rather keep your job or take a knee? I mean as a person who hates politics it would be the most annoying thing for me to take a knee. Given the quality of the movement in which people have burned properties of innocent people it would drive me crazy to even consider taking a knee. I can't even fathom how this shitty movement has become so strong that a national cricket board of one country made it mandatory to take a knee otherwise you cant play. At this point of time I am more concerned of crazy left than of idiot right.

Because I would miss 1/2 day Casual Fridays and Work From Home Days.....
I also have to interact with some African Americans in the office....
I try to do my best to make it feel like we're all close..

For all of the talk of spreading more "freedom" around the world, by forcing someone to participate in a partisan political statement is the very definition of anti-freedom. It goes against a philosophy of life.

I'm not judging anybody - live and let live - but I'm just curious. I like to hear/read others opinions on topics such as this.
I'm watching my local news.
My jaw just dropped.
There's a Satanic Cult a county over for me in the suburbs.
They had a School District change it's dress code so students could now wear Satanic gear to school (some of which say Hail Satan).
Where does the line get drawn? Is this crossing the line or was the ban on Satanic clothing infringing upon other's religious beliefs? I find it a fascinating (and appalling - just my own beliefs - I know others are entitled to their own beliefs) story.
The group is called 'Satanic Delco' if anyone cares to google it and has podcasts, a Facebook page, etc

Crazy left is responsible for dumb shit like this, but idiot right denies science vital to humanity's future such as climate change. Look at idiot right's continued response to covid. Crazy left will continue to destroy humor for the next few years and in some cases get you in hot water for not kneeling; absurd, with that I can agree. But idiot right continues to endanger countless lives during the pandemic and will end up killing millions when the icecaps melt.

Clutch those pearls evermore tightly Frogs. Seriously, every time I hear one of these stories, I find it so hard to believe people keep falling for the most obvious faux outrage trick in the book. Its about keeping religious views out of schools, as per the 1st Amendment. No state religion, freedom of religion. Etc etc. Worshipping Satan is exactly the same as worshipping Jesus, Muhammad, Zeus, Vishnu, Thor, Amon-Ra or Jupiter. No school has the right to tell kids which imaginary friend they or their parents are to have. If you are allowed a shirt with a cross on it, then you have to have allow a shirt with Satan on it. The reason why many, including yourself, get so riled up is because it is SATAN. In my eyes, the Christian God and Satan are EXACTLY one and the same. Fictional characters in a fictional book. That’s MY opinion. It also just happens to be the position 99% of “Satanists” have as well. But to merely prove a point, he’s the best choice rile up Christians because he is the MOST offensive to you guys, and everyone has freedom of religion !

Back to the original point.
Cricket South Africa sure do have a knack of not being able to understand racism. You cannot end racism by creating more racism and forcing people to do things against their will. No one knows, publicly at least, why QDK didn’t take a knee. It has to be something more than tokenism otherwise he could’ve gone along with the token gesture it is. I highly doubt it is racism at all. After all, he’s played in the national setup for the best part of a decade with many men of African descent and his racism has never come out once. But instead of finding out the reasoning why QDK or others won’t kneel, CSA just decides to ramrod in their policy, and strictly enforce it. So now on top of players possibly being picked for national team duties not based on their merits and performances, but in their racial makeup and heritage; CSA have aligned that with a policy that forces players to acknowledge that they as a certain race or heritage are at fault for a groups actions in an entirely different country. That will solve racism won’t it.

Just so people understand the situation with South African cricket; in a misguided attempt to make right the wrongs of apartheid; Cricket South Africa has introduced ridiculous quotas (4 white players and the rest of the playing XI need to be coloured with at least two indigenous African, and they're the ones using the term 'coloured,' not me) which has resulted in there being fewer than 20 white cricketers in the First Class system. Many white players have left to play in England, New Zealand and Australia and these quotas will likely become even more Limiting towards whites as time passes.
So this board that is unashamedly limiting opportunities for players based on colour now comes out without any consultation and forces everyone to support the type of "equality, inclusion and solidarity" that has limited opportunities based on race by taking a knee whether they want to or not. If I were a white South African player I'd be taking my bat and ball and going home too.

'Its about keeping religious views out of schools........'
Is that so?
Our public schools will now be infiltrated with symbols of evil and darkness.
Young minds are very impressionable and can easily fall victim to becoming a part of cultish behavior.
Now we're going to be seeing a ton of these little evil devil worshiping bastards running rampant spreading darkness and destruction -

How do we know which is evil and which isn’t ? They all contradict each other ? Which one is true ? Which isn’t ? Satanists don’t believe in Satan. At all. He is just as much a load of baloney as God and Jesus and any of the other symbols shown above. And the fact is, nations in which secularism is pre-dominant in both schooling and politics have far less crime in general than those that don’t.

Interesting indeed.
So if Satanists do not believe in Satan - what is their mission?
I've read Satanists state that the mission is about 'Religious Freedom' and freedom of speech.
'Religious Freedom'?
Who's twisting your arm to believe in anything?
We're all individuals with our own minds
My problem isn't with grown adults being subjected to this. The attire and paraphernalia is being allowed in public schools.
Children whose minds are not shaped yet at a young age are incredibly impressionable - why fill that mind with darkness as opposed to light?
Yeah - I wouldn't want my kids looking up to this.
Children looking up to the Devil - statue was made in Detroit - This sculpture made the rounds and appeared at the Arkansas State Capitol Building

1. Satanists don’t believe in Satan. Only Religious people actually believe that Satan exists. Satanists use Satan as a placeholder for any god/religious figure. The reason they use Satan is because it gets attention and makes religious people, especially Christians, worried. It’s controversial, confronting and highly effective. 2. It is 100% about religious freedom. You worship God and Jesus. Why can’t I worship whoever I want (including nothing) if I have religious freedom ? 3. Think of the children ? Really ? I don’t want my children’s minds filled with Christianity. It’s the darkest thing I’ve ever heard or read. A totalitarian father figure that toys with humans and needs constant validation, but without a shred of evidence for his entire existence. No child’s mind (least of all mine) should be subjected to Islam either. More make believe bullshit. When it comes to the government and government run schools - it’s either all religions, or no religions at all. There is no difference between a picture of Jesus, a picture of Satan, a Star of David or a Crescent And Star. If you allow one, you have to allow all. Or, conversely, none are welcome at all. 4. Once again, Satanists don’t actually believe Satan to be real. Christians do. Hard to see darkness in something that doesn’t actually exist. 5. Why? It’s a statue. Of an imaginary figure. Ever seen the whatever the fuck it is, like actually alive ? No ? Neither have I. Once again, it’s a placeholder designed to rile Christians. And it works. 6. If you really are interested, here’s what Satanists ACTUALLY believe : thesatanictemple.com/pages/about-usThere are Seven FUNDAMENTAL TENETS I One should strive to act with compassion and empathy toward all creatures in accordance with reason. II The struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions. III One’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone. IV The freedoms of others should be respected, including the freedom to offend. To willfully and unjustly encroach upon the freedoms of another is to forgo one's own. V Beliefs should conform to one's best scientific understanding of the world. One should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit one's beliefs. VI People are fallible. If one makes a mistake, one should do one's best to rectify it and resolve any harm that might have been caused. VII Every tenet is a guiding principle designed to inspire nobility in action and thought. The spirit of compassion, wisdom, and justice should always prevail over the written or spoken word.

Here's a picture of the Philly/Delco Satanists
Just take a look. Poor nutrition, bad skin, out of shape.
These are your Emo Outcasts with no direction in life and somehow want to fit in somewhere and have chosen to lash out against the society they live in since they're Outsiders and join together with their gloomy downtrodden negative mindset.
The leader of this group has an email address.
I'm going to contact him and see if I can have a meeting with him since he's local.
I'm going to ask him what what wrong in his life and try to provide him with some sense of direction and give him a purpose.
Introduce him to sports first and foremost (I can imagine him trying to throw a baseball or football oof. Perhaps introduce him to boxing and running) and get him on a well balanced diet with a rigorous exercise routine. Introduce him to some positive literature.
This is the garbage being shoved down our childrens throats -
Not on my watch!
